Nancy and Kelie are excited about the dyeing classes being planned at Common Threads. Call the store at 760-436-6119 if you would like to be added to the mailing list. They are also looking forward to interviewing Plymouth Representative David Kraft in next week's episode.
Kelie is reading a book called Sweater Quest by Adrienne Martini and is learning a lot about certain parts of the knitting world and history. Nancy has Alice Starmore books for viewing at the store (sorry not for sale)!
There is new Noro yarn and Mountain Colors in the New Encinitas colorway. The girls go off on a tangent about the five parts of Encinitas because Nancy is planning a new colorway for this year's yarn crawl to represent one of the areas.
Kelie had fun joining the Palomar Spinners for the first time for some spinning. It's at the Antique Gas & Steam Engine Museum in Vista, the 3rd Tuesday of the month.
The knitalong at the store is going smoothly and there is a lot of beautiful sweater making going on!
The Louisa Harding sweaters are coming along - Kelie's a little faster due to extra knitting time, but Nancy's going to get going on hers. There are new colors of the Noema yarn in the store.
